What are things to talk about on a long car ride?

So, in a couple of weeks, I'm going on a church retreat with my friends. I'm pretty sure I'll be sitting with the same girl that I did last time. We used to be pretty close, but now we aren't so close anymore. I don't want the car ride the be awkward or boring. I just want some topics, not specific things. The car ride is like 7 hours.
