Here's your answer: always accept a real job offer in lieue of a "maybe" (a future possibility). And, always follow your passion. So for now, accept the so-so job. if the other one materializes in a few months, go with that instead. And don't worry about "job hopping." As long as you stick with a job, any of your first 2-3 jobs, for 2+ years, employers will see that you can keep a job. Good luck!
