Why did he end things?

I know this hurts as you haven't stopped asking this today but you really do need to move on - he has. Like I said in one of my other answers, this has happened to me too, and he knew he wasn't going to get his ex back, but left me "for" her, anyway - it just meant that he didn't want to be with me enough. You might want to consider that. Some men will say anything to get out of a seemingly-perfect relationship though, and you may never know what happened. I've tried crazy stuff to get to the bottom of sudden breakups, and knowing the real truth never really helped me - it just slowed down the healing process.
